Bio:

Long time rival, Midfielder Hugo Alcaraz-Cuellar joins the Sounders for the 2007 season from the Portland Timbers and is expected to bring offensive stamina to the Sounder’s roster.

Alcaraz-Cuellar led the USL First Division in assists during the 2004 and 2005 seasons and is the Timbers all-time leader in assists.

Alcaraz-Cuellar spent two years playing at Fresno State and two years at Santa Barbara City College before beginning his professional career with the San Diego Flash in 2001.
