Bio: As prep at Woodinville High School, Hulen was a first-team All-KingCo 4A and All-Eastside selection and was also named team MVP. After high school Hulen began his college soccer career at Shoreline Community College. In 1999 he transferred to Seattle University, and red shirted his first season. Hulen’s successful career as a Redhawk saw him starting in all 22 games his senior season totaling 4 goals and seven assists. For his accomplishments on and off the field, Hulen was honored by the conference as an Academic All-Star. Hulen scored his first professional goal in his first appearance of the 2003 season at home on July 26 vs. Team Calgary.
