Bio: Wiesner joins fellow University of Washington teammate, CJ Klaas, in their first season with the Sounders. At Washington, Wiesner played in 66 games, starting 56. He finished his career with 15 goals, five assists, 35 points and seven game-winning goals. Wiesner helped lead the Huskies to three NCAA Tournament appearances, including a trip to the Sweet 16 in 2003. He was an All-Pac-10 Second Team selection as a sophomore, a two-time All-Pac-10 Honorable Mention honoree as a freshman and junior, and two-time Pac-10 Player of the Week.
