Bio: A consistent member of the Sounders monstrous and aggressive backline, Defender Ryan Edwards enters his seventh season with the Seattle Sounders. In 2005 Edwards played over 2,700 minutes in 26 matches, scoring three goals and one assist.
Edwards is the club's most consistent scoring threat from the back, recording 10 goals in the last four seasons.
A Univ. of Washington Alum, Edwards joined the Sounders for the 1998 season before returning to his home state of California to play for the Bay Area Seals in 1999 and 2000. Returning to the Sounders in 2001, Edwards is currently fourth on the club's list of all-time minutes played; logging nearly 11,000 minutes on the pitch.
