Bio: Defender / Midfielder Gabe Sturm looks to repeat an impressive 2005 campaign where he scored three goals, had three assists and logged 1,100 minutes in his first season with the Sounders.
A graduate of the University of San Francisco, Sturm earned all league honors in each of his final two seasons. As a freshman in 2000, Sturm started 15 games. In 2001, as a Sophomore served as the team's captain. As a junior in 2002 Sturm was selected to the All-WCC Second Team, scoring six goals and added seven assists for 19 points. In his senior year, Sturm scored two goals while recording four assists to earn All-WCC Honorable Mention honors.
Sturm, a U-19 National Team pool in 2000 was also a Second Team All-State member for St. Mary's HS in Arizona.
