(Seattle, Wash.) - - The Seattle Sounders will play the 2007 season at Qwest Field in Seattle, Wash. it was announced today. The terms and length of the agreement have yet to be finalized.
Sounders general manager Adrian Hanauer said, ''The Sounders are proud to call Qwest Field our home for a fifth season in 2007. Next year we will be back in the postseason and continue the winning tradition of the Seattle Sounders.''
2007 season tickets and ticket packages are already on sale. Fans who purchase prior to December 15th receive substantial discounts and exclusive offers. Reserved season tickets are $210 while General Admission season tickets are $140 for 14 regular season home matches for a limited time.
Early Bird specials for those who purchase their season tickets before the Dec. 15th deadline include discount prices (up to 24% off single seat prices), ten free tickets to opening night, discounted parking and 10% off 2007 Sounder merchandise and apparel.
Early Bird offers are in addition to Sounder season ticket holder benefits which include an unused ticket policy, no service fees on additional tickets purchased, priority seating for international, U.S. Open Cup and exhibition matches plus an invitation to an exclusive pre-season party with the 2007 Seattle Sounders.
On the heels of the Real Madrid vs. D.C. United game in August, the Sounders are actively seeking international games to host during the summer of 2007. Last season, Sounders season ticket holders received priority when purchasing Real Madrid tickets. All 2007 season ticket holders will be afforded the same luxury if additional international games are brought to Seattle.
After December 15th the prices of season tickets increase to $224 for Reserved and $154 for General Admission respectively. Other season ticket and ticket packages for 2007 include – Family Season Tickets, Six-game Flex Packs, Sounder VIP packages and $39 Early Bird Youth Passes (youth season ticket).

Seattle Sounder Days To Remember At Qwest Field:
July 28, 2002 – Sounders play in the first ever event held at then called Seahawks Stadium. They defeated the Vancouver Whitecaps 4-1 in front of a USL First Division record crowd of 25,515.
Feb. 2003 – Sounders announce Qwest Field as new home.
July 22, 2003 – Sounders and Champions World promote Manchester United vs. Celtic match at Qwest Field. Over 60,000 fans took in a Man U victory.
August 27, 2003 – Sounders play Major League Soccer’s L.A. Galaxy in the Quarter-Final Round of the U.S. Open Cup – the furthest the club has ever reached in the annual competition.
October 1, 2005 – Sounders defeated the Richmond Kickers 5-4 on penalty kicks in front of over 10,000 fans to capture the 2005 USL First Division Championship.
July 8, 2006 – Mexican First Division side, Club America visited Qwest Field to play the Sounders in an international friendly in front of over 10,000 fans.
August 9, 2006 – Sounders hosted and promoted Real Madrid vs. D.C. United at Qwest Field. The two sides played before the largest audience to attend a soccer game in Seattle – 66,830. The game featured some of the world’s most notable soccer figures in David Beckham, Raul, Ruud VanNistelroy, Robinho and Freddy Adu.
