(Fort Collins, CO) - - In the middle of a six game road stretch the Sounders Women revenged their first loss of the season with a comanding 5-1 victory over the Fort Collins Force. Sounders Women forward Brenda Mueller scored three goals in the contest, giving her the first hat trick of the season for the club.

(St. Paul, Minn.) –The Seattle Sounders could not contain Melvin Tarley and fell, 2-1 to the Minnesota Thunder in A-League action Saturday at Griffin Stadium. The loss knocked Seattle back to .500 at 4-4-1.
Entering the match Minnesota and goalkeeper Joe Warren had allowed just two goals against in nine previous games. They proved just as stingy against Seattle in the first half, although Sounder forward Welton almost took the zero off the board in the 36th minute. Welton and Warren both made a move on a ball bouncing toward the Thunder penalty box.

(Scottsdale, AZ) - - The Seattle Sounders Women suffered their first loss of the 2004 season, falling 3-2 to the conference leading Arizona Heatwave in overtime. The scoring came early in the game as Sounders midfielder Michelle French tied the game at 2-2 in the 47th minute.

(Seattle, Wash.) - - Both the men and the women Sounder squads are on the road this weekend facing top teams in their respective conferences. The men travel to the Midwest to take on the Minnesota Thunder and Milwaukee Wave United in A-League play, while the Sounders Women head south to Arizona to battle the Heatwave.

(Seattle, Wash.) - - The United Soccer League released Week #8 Team of the Week honors today, recognized for his solid play last week is Sounders defender Scott Jenkins. Jenkins is the fourth Sounder to be selected to a Team of the Week this season.

Coming off of a two-game road trip, the Seattle Sounders faced the Calgary Mustangs for the second time in five days. Going into the match the Sounders were 1-1-0 when facing the Mustangs, with the last match giving the Mustangs their second win in Sounder-Calgary history.

(Calgary, AB) - - The Seattle Sounders Women (3-0-1, 10pts) played the second game of a six game road stretch in Calgary, beating the Wildfire 3-2 on Friday, June 4th. Forward Brenda Mueller scored her fifth goal in four games while newcomer midfielder Michelle French scored the game winner in the 80th minute to contine the Sounders Women undefeated streak.

(Edmonton, AB) - The Seattle Sounders scored early then held on to beat the Edmonton Aviators, 1-0, in A-League action Thursday at Commonwealth Stadium.
The victory earned Seattle a split of their two-game road swing through Alberta and pushed their record back to .500 at 3-3-1. The win was the first of the season for the Sounders away from Seahawks Stadium
Sounder forward Welton (pictured), who had come off the bench to score twice in two Seattle wins, was inserted into the starting lineup, a move that paid off in the 16th minute.

The Sounders women began their two-game Canadian road trip with a 2-1 win over the Edmonton Aviators Women. The match was played as the back end of a doubleheader - the first match saw the Sounders men square off against the Edmonton men.
