RESERVED SEATING FOR US OPEN CUP SELLING QUICKLY

The Seattle Sounders announced today reserved seating sections 109 and 209 are sold out for the September 4th US Open Cup Semifinal match against FC Dallas of Major League Soccer (MLS).

A trio of Seattle Sounders were selected to the USL First Division Team of the week after last week’s victories over Atlanta and Charleston saw Seattle reclaim first place in the USL First Division.

DENILSON JOINS FC DALLAS

World Cup winning Brazilian midfielder Denilson is scheduled to be part of the FC Dallas roster when the team comes to Seattle to face the Sounders in the semi-finals of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup on September 4th. He will be available to play as soon as FC Dallas receives approval of his work Visa from the MLS office, which could be as soon as this week.

After seeing Portland leapfrog them when the Timbers won at Miami on Saturday night, the Sounders returned to the top of the table on Sunday. Sebastien LeToux’ seventh goal of the season and Chris Eylander’s 12th shutout gave Seattle a 1-0 victory against the Charleston Battery in front of 4,291 fans at Qwest Field.

Tickets and parking passes issued for the original date will be honored on August 26th.
